My current beau has been VERY patient with me for going to see the new movies which have been opening because I have been AWAY or in a Business Conference the past two weekends. Great to hear your personal review and those comments about the back fill and character developments.

Star Trek rocked! I’ve been a Trekkie since 1966 and absolutely love the show, although I’ve never dressed up or been to a convention. I thought the new movie was very true to Gene Roddenberry’s vision for the series and it is definitely in my top ten favorite movies.

I will buy it on DVD but it really needs to be seen in the theatre. (I saw it in IMAX.) Some movies don;t transfer well to the small screen (Dances with Wolves comes to mind.) and this Star Trek was one of them.

I lost interest this season in Celebrity Apprentice as the “C” list celebrities just didn’t peek my interest. I did TIVO the final episode to see who won and the fact Joan Rivers did was a travesty as far as justice is concerned. Anyway it is just a TV show, but then some TV shows are very well done. The Apprentice has outlived it’s life.

Saw Star Trek myself. It was good but I felt played too much to the back story of Star Trek and not enough to a new story line. But that is jsut my opinion. Apprentice used to be a really good show in the early days and much to be learned through observation. Once I heard of celebrity apprentice, I lost all interest.
