Focus Your Attention: What Is The One Thing?

Short post today…

A simple Question…

What is the one thing in your business that you know that you need to do, that has the potential to change your business or your life for the better, yet you keep putting it off?

Get out a fresh piece of paper.  I’ll wait…

Do you have the paper?  Good…

Now, on the top of the paper write out a single sentence:

Getting ________ completed will lead to  ______.

Then pick a time today that you can schedule with yourself and make sure that you show up for the appointment.

I will start this at ____ and I will work on it till it is completed…

Mine says:

Getting my revision of my Corporate Veil Pro sales letter completed will lead to better sales conversion, and re-energize my entire marketing strategy for the product…

I will start this at 1:15 am today and I will work on it till it is completed…

Have a great day…

Rob

If your project will take longer than you can possibly schedule, then break it down into smaller chunks on the same page and then schedule the first chunk…

This is great Rob. It is exactly what I need. The only problem is I can’t work on it until it’s done, because life happens. My kids get home from school and my life is not my own. I hope this gives a bunch of others the jumpstart they need.

Pick something smaller that you can get done then. Your life is your own and you should not forget that.

Getting my website up and running (not necessarily perfect) will lead to an increase in income. So today’s assignment: Finish first newsletter for when people subscribe to my email. I got ahead of myself and started on the big project which is the intro that’s on my website right now.
Thanks for the reminder Rob. I have a tendency to have my fingers in way too many pies at once … and they all taste good.

I agree with Lisa. My life is not mine. The only time I can concentrate on smth is night. And It really difficult to stay up 24/7 for 9 weeks in a row.
My big question is probably: where do I find more time ,so I can concentrate on my site, because it’ll bring me money

I did it, I got my website http://www.corporateveilpro.com a spiffier new look. Still work to be done, but it is 1000% better than this morning… I’ll do more later…

    Hi , Rob
Are we limiting this to one sheet of paper? I’ve got a lot I try and get done every day. Good reminder that I need to make certain things a priority.
